Speca Sarl Provides Free Furniture Placements under ‘Erasmus+’ Programme

Speca Sarl, a training institute based in France, are currently developing a project under the pan European "Leonardo" programme, recently renamed "Erasmus+", which offer free one month furniture making placements to skilled trainees in the UK. This is due to commence on March 24th and ending 17th April. They are currently seeking employers in the SE, London and Home Counties regions to take on the trainees.
In France, SMEs in particular are very keen to train young people and to take advantage of the European funding available to enable them to broaden their trainees' knowledge through training periods in the UK. This is a unique opportunity for UK craftsman to pass on their skills at a pan-European level.
There are number of final year skilled trainees available for the one month free placement:
• 8 Cabinet Makers;
• 2 Soft Furnishers;
• 1 Soft Furnishers/Upholsterer;
• 1 Upholsterer.
All have been personally interviewed and assessed by the institute, and all speak English well enough to communicate and undertake their tasks.
