The easy handling and safe packaging patterns in diary industry is making more consumers in India to turn towards packaged Liquid Dairy Products (LDP), according to the study by market researcher rncos.com.
The research report, Indian Dairy Industry Analysis, which reveals that India is the world's largest milk producer, has reported that the country acccounts for 17% of the global milk production.
According to the report, because of the rich nutritional qualities, the consumption of dairy products has been increasing exponentially in the country, and is expected to grow at a CAGR of around 4% during 2011-2015.
The report also reveals the fact that the secondary market for dairy products, including tea, coffee, infant nutrition, malted foods, and bakery products have been growing with the increasing use of dairy products.
