According to statistic released by the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), China’s production of seamless steel pipes totaled 28.2 million tons in 2012, rising by 9% year on year.
In last December, China produced 2.5 million tons of seamless steel pipes, rising by 11% year on year.
The data indicated that the country’s daily output of seamless steel pipes decreased by 6% from a month ago to 80,645 tons, reflecting that the Chinese steel pipe makers only reduced output slightly in last December despite of the oversupply.
